This Privacy Policy explains what information MeetME processes when you use the Bot on Discord or visit this website.

1. Who we are

MeetME is operated by its owner (“we”, “us”) on infrastructure including a virtual private server, and interacts with Discord’s API.

2. Data we process

• Discord identifiers — user, guild, channel, role, and message IDs
• Profile display data — usernames, display names, avatars for embeds and cards
• Message content — when needed for leveling, automod, custom commands, snipe, sticky messages, etc.
• Moderation & security data — warns, cases, logs, anti-raid/anti-nuke events
• Economy & levels — XP, balances, shop inventory
• Linked game identities — if a server enables the optional Rust shop, the in-game Gamertag/PSN ID a user links via /link to receive purchases
• Third-party server credentials — if a server administrator enables the optional Rust shop, the game server's connection address and RCON password they provide, encrypted at rest and used only to deliver that server's own configured purchases
• Configuration — welcome text, channel settings, feature toggles
• Voice state metadata — for voice XP, music, and temp voice (not call audio recording)
• Technical logs — errors and operational logs; website access logs may include IP and user-agent

3. How we use data

To operate bot features, enforce configuration, provide moderation tools, improve reliability, and comply with Discord’s rules. Where a server has enabled the optional Rust shop feature, a linked Gamertag/PSN ID is used only to address in-game item deliveries triggered by that user's own purchases on that server.

4. Storage & retention

Feature data is stored on the bot’s hosting environment. Data is retained while the Bot is used in a server, or until deleted by an authorized process. Third-party game server credentials are encrypted at rest and retained until an administrator reconfigures or removes them.

5. Sharing

We do not sell personal data. Processing may involve Discord, the hosting provider, and optional third-party media services when resolving music links. Where a server administrator has enabled the optional Rust shop feature, a linked Gamertag/PSN ID is transmitted to that specific third-party game server (over that server's own RCON connection) solely to deliver that user's purchase — MeetME is not affiliated with GPORTAL, Facepunch Studios, or any connected game server host.

6. Your choices

• Admins can disable features or remove MeetME.
• Users can leave servers using the Bot.
• Users can remove their linked Gamertag/PSN ID at any time with /unlink.
• Data deletion requests can be made via the operator in a server where MeetME is installed.

7. Security

Reasonable measures protect tokens and stored data. No system is 100% secure.

8. Children

MeetME is not directed at children under 13 (or Discord’s minimum age in your region).

9. Changes

We may update this policy. Continued use means you accept the updated policy.
